Hill is providing design, project, and construction management services for expansion of the marine works infrastructure of Pier 6. The Port of Thessaloniki is a key European transportation hub and expansion will help to promote regional growth. The Pier 6 expansion includes construction of a new quay wall with a minimum length of 440 meters with at least 400 meters providing a minimum depth of -17.60 meters, an additional yard area, and all complementary infrastructure projects, including the dredging of a navigation channel and ship maneuvering area, paving of the yard area, and creation of a utilities network.
