Hill International provided project management services for the historically sensitive refurbishment of an historic building from the 1800s located in the center of Rome near the city’s most famous fountain, the iconic Fontana di Trevi. The property, owned by Due Fondo Portafoglio and managed by Kryalos SGR S.p.A., consists of three office blocks with a total project area of approximately 6,500 SM across 8 stories (7 above ground and 1 underground).

The renovation involved structural and MEP works, facade refurbishment with lighting to highlight decorative features, upgrades of common areas, and restoration of ancient architectural elements. Today, the property includes offices, retail areas, and high-flexibility spaces facing the streets through huge shopfronts. Each space is defined by unique design and sustainability criteria and each is more than capable of hosting the most discerning tenants.

The Hill team supported the owner during the tender process, the design review, and the construction phase dealing with key stakeholders, such as the marketing team, the sales experts, cost controller, and property manager.
