Hill is providing owner’s project management services for the construction of the new Tufts Library. Functioning as the Town of Weymouth’s main public library, the existing two-story, 33,000 SF building was originally constructed in 1965 and lacks the space and technology to support the community’s growing demand for services. The project allocates additional and flexible space for children’s programs and community meetings, increases access to public computers and internet, introduces a history center, provides an amphitheater for performances and programs, and expands parking for visitors.
