Island City Center (ICC) is a mixed-use development providing luxury residences in two skyscrapers. Wrapped in glass facades, these skyscrapers are situated amongst open spaces and planned amenities. The two towers are 53 and 60 floors respectively. Combined, the towers cover an area of approximately 240,000 SM, feature a 3-level underground basement and podium, 14 acres of landscaped gardens, and facilities such as concierge and travel desk, mini theater, executive lounge, air-conditioned squash court, gym, party room, billiards room, game room, library, and a spa. To create these two massive skyscrapers, crews have used more than 156,000 cubic meters of reinforced concrete and framed glass facades of more than 88,000 SM.

Involved with the project since its initial stages, Hill is providing project management services for the development, including design review management, project controls, commissioning support, stakeholder coordination. Hill’s support proved essential during the COVID-19 pandemic, as coordination among the more than 17 consultants and 10 contractors required constant and streamlined communication to minimize delays and avoid cost overruns. Thanks in part to Hill’s efforts, the two towers were completed within budget and the client plans to build an additional two towers as part of the development soon.

In addition, the project achieved more than 31.3 million safe working hours, which warranted it a Vishwakarma Award for best safety implementation.
