The mega project, located approximately 37 KM from Warsaw, is the largest infrastructure project currently in development in Poland and is the largest greenfield airport project underway in Europe. The project will create a new transportation hub on a 3,000 HA site that includes an international airport, major rail station and new connections to road and rail networks, creating modernized links within Poland as well as Central and Eastern European countries. The new Hub, which will integrate air, rail and road transport, is expected to create more than 300,000 jobs and generate up to 7% of GDP growth.

The first phase of the airport project will accommodate approximately 40 million annual passengers. An Airport City will also be developed as part of the overall program and will feature office parks, R&D complexes, hotels, and conference centers. The Airport City will be fully integrated with the overall Airport and the surrounding communities.

Hill provides design review of work packages delivered by the master architect, master civil engineer, and the support infrastructure engineer. These packages include the passenger terminal; railway station, and public transportation interchange, all supporting airfield systems and roadway networks; and ATCT, Inflight Catering, Cargo, and Aircraft Maintenance Support Facilities.

Under a separate contract, Hill provides Professional Consulting services as part of the overall Airport Master Plan development. Working in cooperation with CPK and the Airport Master Plan Group, Hill reviews forecasts, facility requirements, and overall airport development options to verify they are in-line with CPK goals and objectives. Hill will also support CPK with airline coordination efforts.
