As part of a framework agreement with Inmotel Inversiones Italia, Hill provided project management services for the refurbishment and rebranding of the Meliá Milano, a luxurious, five-star hotel in Milan. Featuring fine materials and exquisite craftsmanship characteristic of the global Meliá brand, the project comprised the complete renovation of the hotel’s common and dining areas, as well as 72 rooms on the first and second floors. The renovations also increased the number of meeting and conference rooms, enabling the Meliá Milano to host more events. One of the project’s most important features is a custom main staircase that serves as a centerpiece for the entire hotel.

As project manager, Hill provided project review and approval, contract management, procurement management, design management, and construction site supervision. The Hill team also enabled the hotel to remain completely operational throughout construction, crucial to the project’s success. In addition, by implementing rigorous schedule controls, Hill helped Inmotel Inversiones Italia’s team deliver the project in time for the 2023 Salone del Mobile, one of Milan’s most important events.
