The Delhi Metro Phase 4 project will construct 65.2 KM of metro lines across three corridors. The priority corridors are Mukundpur – Maujpur (Extension of Line 7), Janakpuri(W) – R.K.Ashram (Extension of Line 8) and Aerocity – Tughlakabad (Line 10).

The total underground section of the project runs 27 KM and includes 18 stations. The elevated section runs 38 KM and includes 27 stations. All Phase 4 stations will be equipped with platform screen doors (PSDs) for passenger safety, aiming to provide last-mile connectivity to new housing hubs in the National Capital Region (NCR). The project also includes signals, telecom facilities, traction, air conditioning & ventilation, rolling stock, car depots, an operations control center, offices, station integration, and viaduct sections as well as intermodal integration.

The project is proposed to be funded by state Government of Delhi, Government of India, and a loan from the Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA).

Hill, with its joint venture partners, is assisting the CMRD in the implementation of various work packages and support for construction, testing, and commissioning. Specifically, the team’s services include construction supervision and technical advice, facilitation of implementation of Environmental Management Plan and Environmental Monitoring Plan, review of the DPR of Delhi MRTS Project Phase-IV-2, assurance of safety and quality, monitoring and interface plan, and technology transfer.
