Engineers’ Society of Western Pennsylvania (ESWP) 2025 Energy Project of the Year 

Pittsburgh Regional Transit’s (PRT) Phase I Battery Electric Infrastructure Improvements project received the ESWP 2025 Energy Project of the Year Award. Hill provided construction management services for the project, which delivered electrical infrastructure at Wilkinsburg Park and Ride and East Liberty Garage as part of PRT’s efforts to create a new bus rapid transit corridor and electrify their bus fleet.

ACEC Washington 2026 Engineering Excellence Award

ACEC Washington awarded the 2026 Best in State Gold Award in the “Future Value to the Engineering Profession and Enhanced Public Awareness/Enthusiasm for the Role of Engineering” category to Washington State Ferries’ (WSF) Shore-to-Vessel Charging System project. As the leader of WSF’s general engineering consultant (GEC) team, Hill International is providing program management services for the Shore-to-Vessel Charging System project and the overall System Electrification Program.

Hill and the rest of Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission’s project team received the 2026 Golden Boot Award for exemplary work on the Sideling Hill Service Plaza Truck Parking project in Sideling Hill, PA. The award recognized the team’s innovative solutions and efficiency during construction.

The Arizona Department of Transportation has recognized the Valley Metro Regional Public Transportation Authority’s Northwest Extension Phase II project with a 2024 Arizona Transportation Partnering Excellence Award in the Other Transportation Infrastructure (Over $25 Million) category. Hill provided construction management services for the project.

Valley Metro’s Tempe Streetcar project was honored with the 2025 Downtown Tempe Impact Award in the category of Environmental Impact: Exemplifying Environmentally Sustainable Practices in Downtown Tempe, awarded by the Downtown Tempe Authority. Hill provided program, project, and construction management services for this one-of-a-kind transit solution.

2025 Maryland Quality Initiative (MdQI) Award of Excellence, Modal Under $5 Million

The Maryland Aviation Administration’s Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Bays Heating and Vehicle Exhaust Upgrade project at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport received MdQI’s 2025 Award of Excellence in the Modal, Under $5 Million category. Hill provided construction management and inspection services for the project.
