Hill International Expands in Poland With New Gdańsk Office

We are pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Gdańsk, Poland. The new office is our third in the country, with existing Hill offices in Warsaw and Wrocław.

Along with the cities of Gdynia and Sopot, Gdańsk is part of Poland’s Tricity metropolitan area, a region along the Gulf of Gdańsk with a fast-growing economy. Direct access to the sea and advanced infrastructure at Poland’s largest port, the Port of Gdańsk, make the Tricity a hub for industrial development and commercial activity. Booming residential construction adds to the region’s momentum and lays the groundwork for continued economic growth.

While the economic growth comes with heightened competition in the construction and professional services markets, a permanent local presence gives Hill an edge, says Regional Manager Marcin Blew.

“What differentiates Hill—in Poland and in the other markets we serve— is our ability to combine local knowledge with the mature project management best practices that define our work worldwide,” Marcin explains. “By establishing a team with long-term experience in Gdańsk, we can offer our Tricity clients solutions rooted in global best practices and tailored to local needs.”

Marcin also points out that Hill is part of Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), a consulting group uniting some of the world’s leading project management and engineering firms across more than 100 countries. Hill teams leverage this global platform to bring innovation and multidisciplinary expertise to each of the markets we serve.

“Hill International has been active in Poland for more than 34 years, and we remain committed to the success of our clients throughout the country,” adds Country Manager Łukasz Marcinkiewicz. Łukasz cites several of Hill’s ongoing assignments, including the Centralny Port Komunikacyjny (CPK) airport program, Holcim’s Go4ECOPlanet decarbonization project at the Kujawy Cement Plant, and Karimpol’s Skyliner II office tower in Warsaw, among others. These, he says, represent some of the most ambitious projects in Poland today and reflect the scale and diversity of Hill’s expertise across Poland’s infrastructure, industrial, and commercial sectors.

“Our new office in Gdańsk builds on this long track record and responds to Hill’s work on ongoing energy and development projects in the Tricity area,”  Łukasz says. “With the continued growth in economic activity and increased number of project investments, this is a region where Hill can thrive. From the new office, our team will be better positioned to help regional owners plan their investments, manage construction risk, and deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.”
