Under a framework agreement with Katara Hospitality, Hill is providing project management, construction management, and other consultancy services for multiple projects at five hotel and resort properties in Italy and Switzerland. The facilities to be upgraded include the Westin Excelsior, Rome and the Excelsior Hotel Gallia, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan in Italy, and the Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne, the Royal Savoy Hotel & Spa Lausanne, and the Schweizerhof Bern Hotel & Spa in Switzerland. All are iconic luxury hotels with distinguished legacies.
Planned projects encompass fit-out works, maintenance works, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works. The fit-out works include upgrades and renovations of guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to enhance guest experiences. The maintenance works include routine and ad-hoc activities to help ensure uninterrupted operations and uphold each hotel’s high standard of service. The MEP works include system updates, retrofits, and integration of new technology to improve system efficiency and sustainability and reduce operational costs.
Hill will support the planning and execution of projects at each property in accordance with Katara Hospitality’s requirements. In addition to cost and schedule management, our team will work to reduce or eliminate guest impacts through careful staging plans, stakeholder management, and dust, noise, and vibration monitoring. We will also provide quality assurance/quality control to reduce the need for rework, enhance Katara Hospitality’s portfolio, and help our client continue to exceed customer expectations with premium hotel and resort facilities.
