Senior Project Manager Oliver Wolfert Achieves Top Construction Certification

Oliver Wolfert, a Senior Project Manager at Hill International, recently earned Construction Manager Certification (CCM). The CCM designation is regarded as the “gold standard” credential in the construction management industry.

With more than 30 years of experience delivering and supporting various historic restoration, commercial, and residential projects, Mr. Wolfert’s expertise includes bid preparation, contract negotiation, building code review, and construction management.

At Hill, he has served as Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and, most recently, Senior Project Manager for closeout projects at the German Embassy in Washington, D.C., where he is helping to complete the $120 million renovation of the compound, which has been fully occupied since 2014 during construction.

For the initial three-year renovation, Mr. Wolfert provided critical on-call project management services for all construction activities, and supported the owner by identifying new work and deficiencies. A German citizen, Mr. Wolfert has been integral in liaising with the German State Department and German Building Ministry, as well as coordinating both German and U.S. contracts.

“Oliver has been an instrumental and highly respected part of Hill’s Washington, D.C. region since he joined the firm in 2015,” said Vice President James Beckett, PE, CCM, LEED AP. “Given his fluency in both English and German, Oliver has been successful with his work at the German Embassy, as well as establishing strong relationships with the owner and key project stakeholders. These partnerships have proved valuable in providing our client with high quality services.”
