Hill is providing construction supervision services to the United Water Supply Company of Georgia (UWSCG) for the agency’s endeavors to improve sanitary and wastewater infrastructure in Marneuli, Bolnisi, and Chiatura. Part of the Urban Services Improvement Investment Program and funded in large part by the Asian Development Bank, the program will help improve water access for more than 60,000 people in the country.

The scope of works involves the water supply and distribution systems in Chiatura and Navardzeti; water supply, distribution, and wastewater systems, including a wastewater treatment plant, in Marneuli; and a wastewater network and collector in Bolnisi. Specific features of the program include rehabilitation and reconstruction of sanitary water and wastewater networks, house connections, digital metering systems, new transmission lines, new wells, pumping stations with all necessary mechanical and electrical works, a new supervisory control and data acquisition system, disinfection stations, rehabilitation of existing reservoirs, new reservoirs, new supply wells, a wastewater collector, and a new wastewater treatment plant. 

As the leader of the construction supervision team, Hill is providing design reviews, supervision, training, and commissioning for the program.
