Hill is providing Owner’s Engineer (OE), Project Management (PM), and Construction Supervision (CS) services during the Engineering-Procurement-Construction-Commissioning & Start-up (EPCC) development of the Cyprus Organization for Storage and Management of Oil Stocks’ Fuel Storage Facility and the Vassilikos Energy Center (VEC) Firefighting Network Project.

The Vassilikos Fuel Storage Terminal is located at the Vassilikos Energy Center (VEC), near the infrastructure of Vassilikos Cement, LPG, LNG and other fuel terminals.

The terminal consists of two sections:

  • Section A, the fuel storage facility (tank-farm), consists of seven product tanks with a total capacity of 350,000m3, office buildings, a warehouse, pumping stations, fencing, oily water and drainage systems, security systems, pipelines interconnecting with other terminals, and the necessary firefighting infrastructure.
  • Section B, the Vasilikos Firefighting Network covering the whole Vasilikos Energy Center (VEC), comprises of a 35,000m2 infrastructure including two seawater intake pumping stations, a 3,000m3 freshwater tank, a cluster of 14 underground HDPE pipelines, interconnections to other fuel storage facilities, hydrants’ systems, and monitor systems.
