Project Value €380 million

The Kujawy Go4ECOPlanet project is a landmark carbon capture and storage (CCS) initiative at the Kujawy Cement Plant. This transformative project is a cornerstone of Holcim Polska’s decarbonization strategy and one of the most ambitious efforts to reduce CO₂ emissions in the Polish cement industry.

Once complete, the Kujawy facility will be the first zero-emission cement plant in Poland and among the first in Europe. It will integrate Air Liquide’s Cryocap™ FG technology to capture 100% of CO₂ emissions from clinker production—the most carbon-intensive stage of cement manufacturing. Over a decade, the facility is expected to capture more than 10 million tons of CO₂, equivalent to 10% of Poland’s annual cement industry emissions.

The plant will produce at least 2 million tons of near-zero cement annually.

Hill, as strategic partner for the project, is providing is providing owner’s engineer and consultancy services for this first-of-its-kind project, helping to deliver a CCS installation that will redefine sustainable construction in Central and Eastern Europe.
