DCD Connect London | Debate: Can the industry address the construction workforce gap?
October 02
London, England

Hill is attending and speaking at the event.

Every year the DCD production team builds a conference program that addresses the most important challenges facing the digital infrastructure community. We invite industry experts to share their insights with our audience and allow space for debates and interactive discussion. The conference plays out alongside structured meetings and informal networking opportunities that guarantee a delegate is exposed to new ideas and that they make meaningful connections with their peer group.

Workforce remains one of the most critical challenges the industry faces. And with capacity demands seemingly unrelenting, it is imperative that the workforce is in place to support the growth required. However, attracting, retaining and growing this talent pool is no easy task, particularly in the world of construction. This debate brings together experts to explore how the industry can bridge the skills and people gap in the construction workforce, and ensure the ability and capacity are in place to build the infrastructure required. From tackling inclusivity, to accommodating thousands of workers in diverse locations, we explore the options available to ensure the right people and skills are brought into projects, protecting budgets and timelines, and future-proofing the industry for growth and expansion.
