As the leader of an international consortium, Hill is providing project and construction management support to water operator Apa Canal Sibiu for a project to upgrade water and wastewater infrastructure in Sibiu and Brasov Counties to European Union standards.
The €225 million project is financed by the EU Cohesion Funds’ Large Infrastructure Operational Program and aims to increase urban wastewater collection and purification capacity and help ensure a sufficient supply of drinking water to the population served by the client. In total, the project will improve water and wastewater infrastructure in 26 of Romania’s territorial administrative units, 19 in Sibiu County and 7 in Brasov County.
