While Lewis Mintzer is certainly at home in the classroom, his competitive nature, passion for strategic pursuits, and ability to strike and close deals led him from educational endeavors to Hill International as the company’s Vice President of Business Development, New York Region. In his role, Mr. Mintzer will identify and position Hill with opportunities to improve our competitive advantage, expand the pipeline, and increase business development objectives. He will also build and maintain rapport with various agencies, support proposal efforts, and manage presentation rehearsals.

Mr. Mintzer has more than 30 years of experience in the A/E/CM industry working in various positions within business development, marketing, and operations. He specializes in rail, transit, aviation, highway, wastewater, government, K-12 schools, and higher education sectors.
In addition to earning his MBA with a specialization in Information Systems at Pace University – Lubin School of Business, Mr. Mintzer received his Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics with a concentration in Marketing Research from Baruch College.
As an Adjunct Professor for the last decade, he taught “Marketing for the Engineer and Construction Manager” at the Graduate School at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. Mr. Mintzer also authored a chapter titled “Construction: Emergency Response – Lessons Learned from September 11, 2001” in the “Building Security: Handbook for Architectural Planning & Design” textbook.
