Hill is providing program and project management services for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation’s (SNF) Health Initiative grant program in Greece. SNF is one of the world’s leading private philanthropic organizations, and is supporting the Greek healthcare sector with this series of grants. SNF’s grants will fund the design, construction, and outfitting of three new Hospital buildings located across Greece: the SNF General Hospital of Komotini, the SNF General Hospital of Sparta, and the SNF University Pediatric Hospital of Thessaloniki. The University Pediatric Hospital also includes the design of the new Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health, which is being developed as an integral part of the new hospital based on a holistic, patient-centered model of care and high international standards. Internationally renowned architect Renzo Piano and the Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW) is designing all three hospitals, working in collaboration with the Greek architectural firm Betaplan and specialist healthcare design consultant Llewelyn Davies. In addition, Johns Hopkins University is collaborating with SNF in an advisory capacity. Hill is providing project management services for the three hospitals from preliminary design through project handover to the Greek State and the defects liability period.
