Pete Gaynor served as FEMA Administrator and acting Secretary for the Department of Homeland Security in addition to his roles as a director of a state and local emergency management agency and 26 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. This workshop will focus on Pete’s lessons learned based on successfully leading complex organizations through multiple disasters. Pete will share his valuable experience with attendees to include discussions on politics during disasters, leading up, and resisting pressure during crisis.
