Airports

Hill recognizes that airport projects, for many reasons, are vastly different from other types of construction projects. Airports’ land- and air-side facilities must remain in operation 24 hours per day, seven days a week, and have very specific–and continually advancing–security issues. Many airports are located in ‘built-out’ areas, with little room for needed expansion, and work at many airports must be done within established–and sometimes very constrained–geographic boundaries. We appreciate the fact that airports face ever-increasing federal, state and local regulations and that their budgets continue to tighten, while regulations for financial reporting and accountability continue to become more stringent. Our team has managed some of the most complex airport projects and programs in the world, including the Muscat International Airport, the Abu Dhabi International Airport and the Philadelphia International Airport to name a few.
