Hill provided project management services on Zlota 44, a 54-story high rise in center city Warsaw, Poland. This mixed-used tower features 251 luxury apartments, a retail area, an amenity floor, and a parking garage. Through environmentally friendly engineering, the tower achieves a high level of energy and water savings. The spectacular glass structure provides a tremendous source of sunlight to the building’s interior. 

Zlota 44 was Europe’s tallest high-rise residential tower at the time of construction. The tower created a new model for luxury living in one of Europe’s fastest growing economic centers. To preserve precious daylight amidst a dense and historic urban fabric, the team meticulously sculpted the building’s form with the arc of the sun’s path, allowing for maximum daylight to reach neighboring buildings. The wing-shaped façade takes inspiration from the wings of the Polish eagle, countering the Communist-era Palace of Culture situated directly across and celebrating democracy in Poland.
