Hill provided project management services in connection with EREC’s Building No. 35, the Federal Courts Complex and Ministry of Justice Building in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The facilities feature courtrooms, offices, theatre, gate building, service building, roads, parking facilities, and other amenities. The total built-up area of the facilities is approximately 37,000 SM.

During pre-design, Hill evaluated agreements and contracts currently used with particular attention to professional liability and “scope of work” clauses. The team also recommended changes when appropriate to help ensure the client had an equitable, legal position, when contracting for design and related services. During design, Hill tracked and reported on funding, budgets, estimates, commitments, change orders, and changes for budgets or estimates. While the facilities were being built, Hill arranged and conducted weekly and monthly construction meetings. These meetings included all team members and minutes documenting discussions, decisions, and actions/responsibilities.
