Hill International, Inc. is pleased to welcome Sherry Sweitzer as the company’s Vice President of Business Development, Western Region. In her role, Sherry will be responsible for identifying and leading strategic business development pursuits across the western U.S. She will also focus on strengthening Hill’s reputation as a global, integrated firm specializing in managing construction risk for clients.

Sherry brings more than 25 years of experience in a variety of A/E/C industry sales, business development and operations roles. Her expertise ranges from leading sales teams targeting specific market sectors to training hundreds of sales team members to instill brand and message consistency and sales process knowledge across an entire corporate global footprint.

“Sherry has an impressive track record of growing business and building successful sales teams,” said Michael B. Smith, Senior Vice President and Western Regional Manager for Hill’s Project Management Group. “She will play an essential role in helping to expand Hill’s client base moving forward.”

Her sales experience includes work in the transportation, infrastructure, aviation, government, water, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, hydrocarbon, telecommunication and environmental sectors. Sherry completed MBA coursework at California State University Fullerton, and obtained a Bachelor of Science from California State Polytechnic University.

Sherry recently accepted her new business development position based out of Hill’s Irvine, CA, office. Her history of successfully winning new work, maximizing existing market operations, integrating large and small acquisitions into a global corporate culture and creating firm-wide sales and marketing processes will be instrumental to Hill’s continued growth.
